A middle-aged man from Masaku-ndongo village in Masongaleni Ward, Kibwezi East Sub-county, Makueni County is receiving treatment at Amref-Kibwezi Hospital after being attacked by a stray elephant.
This incident occurred just a day after another man from Ngaikini Village in Kikumbulyu was also seriously injured in a similar attack.
The rogue elephant is also reported to have caused significant damage to farms in the area, destroying crops and leaving a trail of losses for local farmers.
Alarmed residents are now calling on the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) to act swiftly and relocate the elephant, which they say has become a major threat to their safety and livelihoods.
