Kaiti parliamentary aspirant and Job Tuta Foundation Chief Executive Officer Job Tuta has outlined his development agenda for the constituency, promising fair bursary allocation, enhanced healthcare support for senior citizens and accountable management of public resources if elected in the 2027 General Election.
Speaking during a Kenya Kwanza women empowerment programme in Kee Ward, Kaiti Constituency, Tuta said his decision to attend the event was motivated by his commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift women while engaging residents on the constituency's development priorities.
Tuta said one of his key priorities would be ensuring that NG-CDF bursaries are distributed fairly to all deserving students without favoritism, arguing that access to education should not depend on one's background or connections.
He also pledged to champion the payment of Social Health Authority (SHA) contributions through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) for residents aged 60 years and above, saying the initiative would help ease the financial burden many elderly people face when seeking healthcare.
The parliamentary aspirant said he is well prepared to serve Kaiti, citing his 13 years of experience working within the NG-CDF system. According to Tuta, the experience has given him an in-depth understanding of constituency development, having worked with Members of Parliament from both the government and the opposition.
"I know how the NG-CDF operates and what it takes to deliver services to wananchi. My experience has prepared me to serve the people of Kaiti effectively," he said.
Tuta maintained that the national government has consistently released development funds for roads, electricity, water projects, women empowerment programmes and other initiatives. He argued that delays in service delivery should not be blamed on the lack of funding but on ineffective leadership at the grassroots.
He urged residents to elect leaders who can effectively utilize the resources allocated by the national government to improve the lives of the people.
Tuta also praised Kaiti residents for supporting President William Ruto in the 2022 General Election and noted that Terry Mbaika, whom he described as Kaiti's daughter, continues to serve in government and participate in national decision-making. He expressed hope that she would retain her position should President Ruto secure a second term.
He concluded by calling on residents to continue supporting the Kenya Kwanza administration while electing leaders with the experience and commitment to ensure development resources benefit all members of the community.
