Job Tuta, the Chief Executive Officer of the Job Tuta Foundation, has urged Principal Secretary for Aviation and Aerospace Development, Terry Mbaika, to abandon any ambitions of contesting the Kaiti Parliamentary seat and instead pursue a Cabinet Secretary position after President William Ruto secures a second term in office.

Speaking during a women economic empowerment programme at Kyambeke in Ilima Ward, Kaiti Constituency, Tuta said the Kaiti MP seat was "too small" for the Principal Secretary, arguing that she would be better placed to serve the people of Kaiti from the Cabinet.

In a light-hearted remark that drew cheers from the crowd, Tuta said Mbaika should leave the parliamentary contest to "small boys" like himself and fellow aspirant Dr. Stephen Ndolo, who has also declared interest in the seat.

The event attracted thousands of women from across Ilima Ward and was attended by several UDA-affiliated leaders, including PS Terry Mbaika, Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse, Dr. Stephen Ndolo, Dr. Mulwa, and other leaders.

Tuta used the forum to officially reaffirm his bid for the Kaiti parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election, pledging to offer transparent, accountable, and development-oriented leadership if elected.

He highlighted several government development projects in Kaiti, including the ongoing Kyambeke–Kikoko Road and the proposed Kyambeke–Kyuasini–Ukia Road, saying the projects demonstrate the Kenya Kwanza administration's commitment to improving infrastructure and boosting economic growth in the constituency.

The aspiring legislator also urged residents to continue supporting President William Ruto's administration, saying the region would benefit from sustained collaboration with the national government under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

Tuta pledged to work diligently to transform Kaiti if elected, promising inclusive leadership and accelerated development across the constituency.

"Together, we shall transform Kaiti. The best is yet to come, and Kaiti will never be the same again," he told the gathering.
