Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Hon. Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen, E.G.H., today hosted the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) leadership, led by Chairperson Bishop Dr. Kepha Nyamweya Omae, during a courtesy call marking their first official engagement since assuming office three weeks ago.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and the Commission in promoting national cohesion, peaceful coexistence, conflict prevention, and unity across the country.

The two institutions also explored strategies aimed at fostering inclusive dialogue and enhancing public confidence in democratic processes as Kenya prepares for the 2027 General Elections.

The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to safeguarding peace, with both sides underscoring the importance of inter-agency cooperation in building a cohesive, secure, and stable nation.
